Japanese Apple blog Macotakara reported yesterday that Foxconn has kicked-off production of the next-gen iPhone in preparation for what is widely expected to be a summer release. The blog’s source, which is considered to be reliable, claims that the company has begun the early stages of production on the same line as that used to build the iPhone 5, and the devices will be built in tandem due to distinct similarities in their construction.
